Accounts Receivable Specialist

Mandate:  Under the supervision of the Credit and Accounts Receivable Supervisor, the candidate is responsible for various operational tasks in the credit and accounts receivable department mainly the application of payments and the maintenance of customer accounts. We are looking for an individual who stands out for their versatility and the excellence of their service.


  • Open customer accounts in our ERP systems following credit approval
  • Responsible for the maintenance and creation of customer files
  • Record payments to customer accounts (checks, EFTs, credit cards)
  • Process adjustments to accounts receivable (write-offs, reversals, and other corrections)
  • Conduct the month end process
  • Monitor and sort requests in the credit mailbox
  • Invoicing on the different Client Portals
  • Process credit card payments
  • Work in close collaboration with the credit team for all specific requests and other tasks related to the department
  • Work in close collaboration with other departments throughout the company

Key Competencies:

  • 3 – 5 years of accounts receivable experience
  • College diploma in administration; in accounting or experience in a related field or DEP in accounting
  • Ability to demonstrate organisation and teamwork
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and autonomous
  • High level of output & ability to handle high volume and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite, ERP experience, and other software experience
